Why off-lead Cheshire walks are great enrichment

One of the joys of dog walking around Northwich is the countryside: fields, woodland and quiet trails that are perfect for letting a dog truly stretch their legs. Off-lead adventure walks are a firm favourite with the Zoomies Crew dogs, and for good reason.

Freedom to be a dog

Off-lead time (where it's safe and your dog has a reliable recall) lets them move naturally, explore at their own pace and follow their nose. That freedom is hugely enriching and helps build confidence.

Better physical and mental workout

Varied terrain works different muscles than pavement walking, and all that sniffing and decision-making tires the brain. A dog that's been on a good adventure walk comes home genuinely content, not just physically tired.

Safety first, always

Off-lead walking is only ever offered where it's safe and appropriate for your individual dog. If recall is still a work in progress, we'll use a long line so they still get the freedom without the risk.
